Arulmigu Eri Kaatha Ramar Thirukovil, Madurantakam, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu

Madurantakam - Chengalpattu - Eri Kaatha Ramar Thirukovil

Lord Ram's grace is every where and in Madurantakam he is blessing as Eri Katha Ramar - The Lord Ram who saved the Tank for more than 1600 years

This place is also called as Chaturvedi Mangalam, and Sri Vaishnava Acharya Sri Ramanuja was initiated to Sanyasa in this place by his guru. The place is on temple's praharam

Lord Ram's Darshan to British Collector :

==============================
As incessant rains lashed Madurantakam, which was notorious for Tank breaches the Collector camped near the tank hoping against hope that the bunds would hold.
The collector had an argument with temple priest a day earlier as the priests refused to part with granite meant for Temple for Tank Bund restoration and insisted the collector to have faith in Lord Ram

As he was inspecting, Colonel Blaze saw a miraculous sight. He saw two warriors bearing bow and quiver guarding the bunds. The British officer went on his knees and prayed, for he knew it was none other than Lord Rama and his divine brother Lakshmana. It was indeed strange that nobody else who was a part of the Collector's retinue saw the Lord
