The place is twenty minutes drive from Mambakkam (Vandalur-Kelambakkam Road) and half hour from Guduvancherry. One has to traverse through a reserve forest to approach Kumizhi Village. The Shiva temple is a mile from there on hills with beautiful lake on one side and green trees on the other side

Saroni Thadagam curing Skin Diseases
The temple pond - Saroni Thadakam cures Skin diseases including Leprosy. The clay of this pond is taken by devotees and applied to cure skin ailments. The pond never dries up and One walks up few meters able to realise the numerous channels that bring the medicinal waters to pond.
Naughty Monkeys
A group of monkeys 🐒 are around this temple and catch the Prasad offered by temple priest. Their playfulness will make us come out of the professional world and enjoy nature in its best form
