Athi Rudram and Satha Chandi Maha Yajnam at the Holiest of
Holy place on earth Thiruannamalai, from 12th December 2017 to 22nd
December 2017.
With the fervent anugrahams of HH Mahaperiava,
the trust has been spearheading AthiRudrams
and Sahasrachandis at every other known Adishtanams of the revered Acharyas of
Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam and other Holy
places related to Kanchi Mutt and it is fortunate to arrange the next one at
this Holiest of towns Tiruvannamalai the Agnishetram where Mahaan Sheshadri
Swamigal,
HH Ramana Maharishi continue to bless
millions of Devotees everyday and the town
made holier by the visits and Giripradakshinam
of Mahaswamigal. Sri Ramana maharishigal and sri Sheshadri Swamigal lived
nearly forty years in this shethram at the same time
A full fledged AthiRudram is to be conducted
for 11 days and 150 Ritwiks/veda pundits
participate with dedication and focus. Specific counts of experts on each of Rig, Krishna Yajur, Suklar Yajur,
Jayamani Saka Sama, Atharvana veda particip
ate strictly following their own
self discipline and anushtanams as clearly defined in texts. Ritwiks seldom move out on these days.
Also
a Satha Chandi Yagnyam to propitiate Goddess Devi is to be conducted every day
morning with sapthasathi parayanam on
all these days .

After a mile surrounded by hills on three sides comes Tirupurasundari sameda Vedagirishwar temple. Lord Ganesha welcomes in both forms - a cute little stone Ganesh with a Vishwaroopa Vinayaga behind him . There is big Hanuman with a senate shrine. The temple pond - Saroni Thadakam cures Skin diseases including Leprosy. The clay of this pond is taken by devotees and applied to cure skin ailments. The pond never dries up and One walks up few meters able to realise the numerous channels that bring the medicinal waters to pond.
